Chris Sutton
Melbourne-based dancer Chris Sutton first saw Swing dancing in 2005 and has been addicted ever since. Before dancing, Chris played saxophone and piano in big bands for many years and it seemed inevitable that his love of the Swing era bandstand kings, such as Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, would eventually lead him to this amazing dance
Chris is an experienced performer and performs at festivals and events all over Melbourne, most often with the dance troupe Bratpack. He has trained under many of the top swing dancers in the world and at some stage has taken lessons from just about every instructor in the Melbourne scene. Chris is new to teaching but always excited to share his ideas about the dance, his love of the music, and of course his cheesy moves.
